David Boyer

Technical Director

David has 25 years of global expertise in environment, economics, and social equity of natural resource management and sustainable development. He also has a wealth of knowledge on carbon credits and markets due to his decades of work in the carbon sector. Previously, David served as Senior Director for the Prince Sadraddin Aga Khan Fund for the Environment and worked for the International Institute for Sustainable Development and with Oxfam America to define their new strategic theme in community-based natural resource management. Through his 25-year consulting business, E3Collaborative - “environment, economics, and equity,” he has conducted program development, technical support, and evaluations for the Dutch Government, USAID, USEPA, Save the Children UK, the Institute for Sustainable Communities, and more.

David holds an MS in Natural Resource Management and Administration from Antioch University New England, has education in taking organizations to the next level financially and strategically from the Scaling-Up Institute, Community Economic Development Master’s Program, and holds a BS in Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
