Josy's career with the Eden Reforestation Projects began in 2006 in the northwestern region of Madagascar. He quickly proved pivotal in the restoration of thousands of hectares, encompassing both mangrove wetlands and inland forests. Since 2007, as Country Director of Madagascar, he has dedicated his efforts to large-scale land restoration, emphasizing the protection of biodiverse species and the enhancement of sustainable community livelihoods.

Steering operations across multiple planting sites, Josy manages seed distribution and coordinates the hiring of community members for the implementation of restoration projects, ensuring that ecological restoration goes hand in hand with economic development.

With an impressive tenure spanning almost two decades in environmental conservation, Josy's experience and dedication remain invaluable assets in the pursuit of a more resilient Madagascar.
